"Because we come from everywhere, we all come from away".

Based on the true events of 9/11, Come From Away is the story of how Canadians open their hearts and doors to 7000 strangers who were stranded in Gander, Newfoundland and surronding areas on September 11th 2001. In 2017, Saccha received news of joining the second company of Come From Away as Hannah and others which opened at the Royal Aleaxandra Theatre on Feb 18th 2018. 

Saccha Dennis was born in Montreal, Quebec. Growing up in a musical family, she soon discovered that she was driven to learn all aspects of performance. 

Saccha attended the Creative Arts and Theatre Workshop program at John Abbott College in Ste Anne de Bellevue where she studied Musical Theatre performance. In 1997, Saccha joined the world renowned Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir under the director of Trevor Payne. Four years with MJGC, five productions at John Abbott, and one choir directorial debut later, she had sufficient tools to begin working professionally with Black Theatre Workshop  and the Centaur Theatre in Montreal. She didn't stop there, she decided to launch Slyde an 11 piece funk band which performed in and out the Montreal area. Two years later, it was off to Oakville On, for a three year program in Music Theatre Performance at Sheridan College.

Other theatre credits include: Sousatzka- a new musical at the Elgin Theatre.  Jacob two-two meets the Hooded Fang, James and the Giant Peach (Dora nomination for best ensemble) Sister Act, Avenue Q, Dreamgirls, Little shop, Shaw Festival’s Ragtime, My Fair Lady, Sunday in the Park with George and 1st U.S National tour of We Will Rock You to name a few..

Now residing in Toronto,ON Saccha continues to pursue theatre across Canada and the US. Saccha's Cd's entitled Something Good, and Ready or Not have both been tributes to her love for Music Theatre and Jazz.
